Thank You! 🙏 To everyone who came to see us at the Christmas Market 🎄last weekend. It was a huge success. 🎉 We sold out of a number of items, but our website has been updated with all currently available items.

If you’re looking for some last minute gifts 🎁 , let us know ASAP. People love receiving honey because it’s unique & delicious, and since it’s consumable, it doesn’t clutter up the home.

OMG! Check out our MAD BEE Honey! 😡🐝

(Yes… Made by really mad bees…)

This very light-colored honey has a unique, delicious flavor that some have called “spicy”! Just like the bees who made it.

Bee genetics are an interesting thing, and I think the queen in this colony mated with some drones from the wrong side of the tracks.

The bees started off in early spring this year being very defensive.

And before long we (and our poor neighbors) couldn’t even enjoy our back yards because these bees thought we were invaders in their territory.

It got so bad, we had to move them up to some vacant land in Granville County, so they could be curmudgeons all by themselves.

And let me tell you, when it came time to harvest the honey, they weren’t going to let it go without a fight.

I was covered head-to-toe, and not content to just sting me a dozen times through my gloves, they even managed to get into my veil and sting me on the eyelid.

But my pain is your gain because they have produced some awesome honey that we have available in 3 different sizes: 16-ounce and 8-ounce jars along with 12-ounce bears.

Come taste the unique flavor of our Mad Bee Honey at the Sts. Cyril and Methodius' St. Nicholas European Christmas Market this Friday and Saturday at the Fairgrounds in Raleigh.

Take home a couple of jars and enjoy the combination Sweet and “Spicy” flavors.
