Testosterone works all over the body. Feels so good to do a brain dump down into an academic paper with friends. This was very hard work and I’m so happy to add to the body of literature when people say testosterone doesn’t do anything. See also when they say we have no data. Dude, we have so much data we can put it into a summary paper.

As a urologist: probably not a short urethra problem.

Samantha Newman data on patch shortages in NZ.
95% had difficulty accessing hormone therapy over the past 12 months.
84% reported negative impact on emotional well-being.
65% reported negative impact on physical health.
20% of teachers and nurses took time off of work because of a patch shortage
I believe the data to be the same in the USA. We just don’t have USA data.

Misogyny out in the open.
F you and shame on the platform for platforming misogyny.
Define misogyny: Misogyny is the hatred of, contempt for, or deep-seated prejudice against women and girls

Today’s the day our second location in Washington state!

I have an amazing team!

Where I think our clinic specifically shines: we get people dialed in quickly with visits every 6 to 8 weeks.

You don’t see this kind of movement and results in traditional Insurance based medicine.

Once you feel like you are dialed in, you have two options: stay with us for fewer visits in the year for check-in and refills or transition over to your primary care team who can do continued care and refills for you.

The first 10 new members to sign up at the Woodinville location are invited to a happy hour in Woodinville with me in the months to come!!

interested? Head over to thecaspersonclinic.com to fill out the question form and read our FAQs and my team will be in contact with you.

This is a first and I hope it won’t be the last. Signing my name on a body part that violates Meta’s “terms and conditions” to type.
Thanks to Rixa Health | Telemedicine for the stage, the audience, and chance to connect with Ohio.
And oh, the standing ovation at the end of my talk didn’t suck at all!!
Much love. 💕

Episode 392 – When in Menopause: Advocacy, Policy, and the Power of Speaking Up
Who gets to be a menopause advocate? You do. You probably already are.
Dr. Casperson sits down with Jennifer Weiss-Wolf, a lawyer, women’s leadership leader at NYU Law, and author of When in Menopause: A User’s Manual and Citizen’s Guide. Jennifer helped drive the fast, bipartisan wins in period policy. Now she’s applying those lessons to menopause, and she’s honest about why this one is harder.
They cover where the policy wins are coming from, what still blocks progress, and why workplace perks miss the point. They also talk about why the real work is bigger than any one issue. If you’re a clinician, an advocate, or just someone who wants to make change without a big platform, this one is for you. @

Imaging paying 300,000 for medical school and all we learned was to tell women to drink w**e and use food products when our hormones go low in midlife.
When we know better we do better. We now have genitourinary syndrome of menopause guidelines. Free online. Use them.
