This weekend, the Raleigh Psychology team and our families had the privilege of serving at Hope Reins. On the surface, we spent the morning pulling w**ds and picking up sticks. Simple work.

But what we learned made every w**d feel significant.

At Hope Reins, rescued horses partner with children and families who have experienced trauma. During equine-assisted therapy, even something as ordinary as w**ding the arena can make a difference. By removing the horses’ temptation to graze, they’re able to stay more engaged with the child in the pen—making it easier for trust, connection, and healing to happen.

At Raleigh Psychology, we believe that caring for our community extends beyond the therapy room. It was a joy to spend the day with our clinicians, staff, and families giving back together.

We’re proud to support something bigger than a finish line 🏃‍♀️💙

Raleigh Psychology is honored to be a sponsor of the 5th Annual THRIVE 5K with Refugee Hope Partners—and even more excited that members of our team will be out there running (and walking!) alongside this incredible community.

This event is about so much more than miles. It’s about showing up for our refugee neighbors, building connection, and creating a space where everyone belongs and can truly thrive.

Last year’s race brought together hundreds of participants and raised meaningful support for programs that empower refugee families right here in the Triangle. This year’s goal is even bigger—and we’re grateful to be part of it.

If you’re looking for a way to move with purpose, this is it. Come join us on the greenway for a morning of community, celebration, and impact.
