We celebrated 35 years!
Thank you to everyone who joined us at Prestonwood Country Club for Southeastern Wake Adult Day Center’s 35th Anniversary Celebration.
There were so many special moments throughout the evening, but one of the best was simply seeing the room filled with people who care about Southeastern and the families we serve. Some have been with us for many years. Others are newer friends. Having everyone together made the night especially meaningful.
We owe a special thank you to Carletta Wilkins, Sasha Davenport, Debra Mangum, Bridget Wall-Lennon, Dr. Marion Miller, Zadock McCoy, Regina Gregory, Dr. Bessalina Griffin of Footprint Podiatry, and Aliyah Boone of A to Z Speech Therapy for generously supporting the celebration.
Thank you as well to our table hosts, George Smith, Gretchen Williams, Jonathan Best, and Antoine Midgett, who invited friends and colleagues to join us and helped make sure we had a wonderful room of people to celebrate with.
We were also proud to recognize Lola Fuller with the Johnny Cornelous Community Award, Dr. Jodi Hall with the Volunteer Award, Eva Oakley with the Health Advocate Award, Terrell Midgett with the Partnership Award, and Rev. Frank White with the Faith Award. Each has supported Southeastern and our community in ways worthy of recognition.
And thank you to Sumthin 4 Tha People for the music and for helping us have a little fun while we celebrated!
We are sharing a few photos from the evening because they tell the story better than we could. Thank you to everyone who came, gave, celebrated, laughed, danced, and helped us mark this milestone.
35 years strong, and still caring.
