📝 Test Tip Tuesday

Second-guessing can sometimes lead you away from the correct answer.

Trust your preparation, read the question carefully, and only change an answer if you've identified a clear reason why your original choice was incorrect.

🎓 Study Tip Sunday

Don't just memorize the material—understand it.

One of the best ways to strengthen your knowledge is by explaining a concept in your own words. Whether you're teaching a classmate, talking it through with a friend, or even explaining it to yourself, teaching reinforces learning.

⚾️ How does the AANA Region 2 PAC Challenge work?

Unlike most fundraising challenges, this competition isn't based on raising the most money—it's based on participation.

Each state's "batting average" is calculated by dividing PAC dollars donated by membership size, giving every state an equal opportunity to succeed, regardless of how large or small its membership is.

That means every donation makes a difference. Whether it's your first gift or you're a longtime supporter, you're helping North Carolina climb the leaderboard while strengthening advocacy for CRNAs.

📝 Test Tip Tuesday

One of the most common testing mistakes is answering the question you think is being asked instead of the one that's actually written.

Read each question carefully, avoid making assumptions, and focus on the information provided before selecting your answer.

💙 Slow down—you've got this!

🎓 Study Tip Sunday

One of the most effective ways to retain information is through spaced repetition.

Instead of cramming the night before an exam, review material in shorter sessions over several days or weeks. Revisiting information at strategic intervals helps strengthen long-term memory and improves recall when you need it most.

⚾️ Step Up to the Plate for North Carolina!

NCANA is excited to participate in the AANA Region 2 PAC Challenge, a friendly competition where every contribution helps strengthen our state's "batting average."

The best part? Success isn't measured by the size of the donation—it's measured by participation. Every gift helps support advocacy efforts that protect the CRNA profession and ensure our voice is heard.

💙 Wellness Wednesday x National Dog Day 🐶

Today we're celebrating our four-legged companions and the positive impact they can have on our well-being.

Research suggests that spending time with pets may help reduce stress, boost mood, decrease feelings of loneliness, and even encourage physical activity. Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood or simply coming home to a wagging tail, our furry friends remind us to slow down, recharge, and enjoy the little moments.

Happy National Dog Day to all the pups—and the CRNAs, SRNAs, and pet lovers who make them part of the family! 🐾

💬 Share a photo of your dog in the comments—we'd love to see them!
