Sit up, place your hand over your heart. Close your eyes. Take three slow and controlled, deep breaths in and out. Imagine seeing the air going in and out of your heart space. Ask yourself, "what makes you (meaning your heart) happy? What makes it feel good when you do a certain something?" As the answers come, say those words out loud as in, " my heart feels joy when I ________." Notice and feel how your heart is vibrating now, as it is held in your hand. Express love and appreciation back to it. Now take the words revealed by your heart and turn them into a statment of action. For example, "I will seek adventures to capture moments everywhere I go so that my heart feels joy." This came from a special someone who when we did this exercise recognized his heart is happiest when he photographs moments." Thus he will carry his camera everywhere he goes, even to work 🙂 Another person discovered it is when she cooks something new that takes her more time that she experiences her happy and her peace. Well, a management role kept her so busy that she was cooking quick meals or eating out. Yet her soul felt that void. As the tears came, she claimed, "I will cook one new recipe a week with my daughter so that my heart feels joy." What is your soul asking YOU for?

So much I love about 2019. I'd say the biggest is how much more of a profound understanding I received from researching and studying God. It equipped me with what to do in struggles and doubt or when I need leading or divine intervention and He takes hold of my hand and I remember I am still His child. He always makes it better. When you are curious, pursue the study of that subject relentlessly because it multiplies your joy profoundly. Instead of focusing on how you can't wait for 2019 to be over, share what made you stronger, more resilient, happier, hopeful, what you gained or how you have changed? It is how you end that sets you up for a great start! And so, before it is gone away say, "2019 thank you for ______________!" Always find a way to ❤

All of your emotions are valuable and should be valued. Allow yourself to process through for your breakthrough. Healing is never meant to be rushed but reflective. Feedback is data. Learning what did not work is as important as learning what did, just as learning what you do not like.

Merry Christmas to families, friends and every special person out there! Today many of you will be with friends. Did you know the connections you make with solid friends can be even stronger than family? It is because you choose your friends and when to share time socially vs feeling like you have to out of doing the right thing. For others, some of your family members have also become dear friends. What a double blessing that is! Traditional gatherings with family are also times when you reflect on values and what makes your heart grateful, also good for the soul. I have also spent holidays alone and celebrated with the one who never parts from my side and who I call my bestie, Jesus💖 So my message is this, you are ALWAYS in good company. Celebrate today knowing you are deeply loved and treasured. As today some think about gifts, pause to consider your gifting, meaning all of the talents you were given at birth, those you came into this world with. Which of these are you finally ready to open? Is today the day you stop keeping yourself in a box and fearlessly unwrap your gifting?
