At Galatians Community Health, our mission is to provide quality healthcare to underserved communities with an emphasis on reducing maternal and infant mortality rates in underrepresented women and children. GCH provides access to Primary Care, Pediatrics, and OB/GYN care for all patients, regardless of their insurance status. GCH is the number one referral source for private women's health and pediatric practices for underinsured patients We care for patients of all life stages, providing preventative care that builds a healthier society. Your donation will be used to provide prenatal care, improve technology, employ quality staff, and provide patient education programs. We are asking you to help us continue to break down the barriers to quality healthcare in our community.

💜 An empty exam room tells a story.

Yesterday, a former patient shared these words with us:

“I have called six different primary care offices trying to schedule appointments for my children and myself, and either they have no openings for three months or they do not accept Medicaid… I could always call and be seen the same day or the next day.”

Her words are a reminder of why Galatians Community Health exists.

For more than a decade, we’ve been committed to providing compassionate, affordable healthcare to families who need it most. Today, because of funding limitations, our primary care services have been significantly reduced—but the need in our community has only grown.

This exam room is ready to care for patients.

What we’re missing are the resources to keep its doors open more often.

Every volunteer, every donor, every grant, every partnership, and every shared post helps move us one step closer to expanding access to care for the families who depend on it.

Together, we can ensure that more children receive checkups, more parents find a provider who accepts Medicaid, and more families have access to the care they deserve.

For more than a decade, Galatians Community Health has proven that quality healthcare and compassionate resources should never stop because someone cannot afford care.

With a small but dedicated team, we’ve delivered compassionate care, helped bring healthy babies into the world, supported families, created employment opportunities, mentored future healthcare professionals, and invested in people whose careers continue to make a difference in our community.

If you—or your college student—are studying public health, healthcare, administration, or a related field, and are looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience with a results-driven, mission-focused organization, we would love to connect.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by incredible institutions including NCCU ❤️, Shaw University, Saint Augustine’s University, NC State, Duke University, William Peace University, Wake Tech, and Durham Tech—and we welcome students ready to serve, learn, and grow with us.
