My client requested a desert scene featuring a prickly pear cactus with pink blossoms, California poppies, and desert lupine.

I thought the scene would look nice framed within a geometric shape, with the florals helping give the piece some structure and movement. I placed the prickly pear cactus in the mid-ground so it could remain one of the main focal points, while keeping the surrounding landscape and background lighter and softer. This helped keep the focus on the main elements of the piece: the cactus, poppies, and lupine.

I had so much fun creating and tattooing this piece ✨

Fresh snake by Jet Tamburri 🐍

Jet used a mix of stencil and freehand techniques to map this snake to the client’s forearm and get the fit just right.

The black and grey work, textured scales, and strong contrast really let the shape of the snake flow seamlessly throughout the whole piece.

Turns out, you don’t have to stay committed to the tattoo you got in Myrtle Beach when you were 18.

This client came to ready to cover an old tattoo they had outgrown and replace it with something more meaningful.

Paul transformed it into this full-color shoulder piece, using an illustrative style to build a vivid landscape around a glowing sunrise, winding river, three crosses, and an open stone tomb. The piece blends realism, atmospheric landscape work, and religious imagery with bold color and dramatic composition.

We love a dragon and floral fantasy moment. 🐉🌹

This piece by Ember wraps across the shoulder with a black and grey dragon perched over a bold red rose, surrounded by loose ornamental linework that carries the design beyond the wings and down the back.

The rose gives the whole piece a strong focal point, while the softer shading through the dragon, wings, leaves, and smaller details keeps everything feeling balanced and layered.
