Andrea Beardsley-Glover is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina. She holds a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Seton Hall University. She also holds a Post-Masters Certificate in Sport Psychology and her personal training and yoga certifications from the National Council of Certified Personal Trainers. Andrea has her provisional certification as
a Certified Consultant for the Association of Applied Sport Psychology.

Andrea's overall purpose is to assist those in need of both physical and mental training. Her work stems from the concepts and theories of cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. Andrea specializes in working with women of all ages who suffer from body image issues, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, etc. She also works with young athletes (middle school, high school, and college level) who may be struggling with the mental aspects of their sport performance. Andrea strives to increase her clients' self-esteem through the activities of physical exercise, relaxation and calming techniques, yoga, focus and concentration techniques, and positive self-talk (changing the way you feel about yourself).
