A Pilates 'Twas the Night Before Christmas

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the gym,
All the creatures were stirring trying
to get their last Pilates class in.
Toe Socks were hung by the chimney with care,
In hope that St. Nick would bring more Pilates this year.

The springs were nestled
all snug against their Tower.
With visions of Pilates Mat and Circles with Power.
When out of the Pilates class there came such a clatter,
The teacher and clients ran in to see what was the matter!

There was a man in a red suit — still working out,
Working to take his belt in instead of all the way out.
He was dressed in fur, no wonder he was sweating!
The teacher and clients wondered —
What gifts they would be getting?

The man had a bundle of Pilates gifts in a sack on his back,
Foot Correctors, Sand Bags, even a Pilates Mat Rack!


He was glowing with pride, the jolly old elf,
He had been doing Pilates and was proud of himself.


A wink in his eye and a twist of his head,
"Oh my goodness, I better get going,"
he said with some dread.

"I have gifts to deliver and Pilates —
I tried it! I’ll start the New Year now
with a very healthy diet."


He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a shout
"Move it you guys, I have a Pilates message to get out."


And I heard him exclaim as he drove out of site,
A Pilates Christmas to all, let’s start the year right!"
