The Lions Special Kids Day Committee would like to thank Mcilwain Mobility Services for participating in the
May 16, 2026 event by providing information about your specialized off-road accessible equipment and
adaptive bicycles at our event. Lions Special Kids Day event received many compliments from the families
during and after the event. We hope you heard them yourselves!
A fun day was had by special needs kids and their families, vendors and volunteers. The committee plans to
work hard again this year to get the word out about next year’s event. This year we had 558 registered family
members, an increase of 100 guests from 2025 registrations. Our count of family members attending is
approximately 200 and we know that some families may not have visited the registration desk.
We hope the guests, Lions or other non-Lion volunteers that attended took an opportunity to visit your booth.
We plan to post pictures of the event on our website soon so stay on the lookout for those updates.
