Our Active Shooter Victim Decks are now available for agencies using SALT triage, with both Adult and Pediatric options.

Each 32-card deck presents a range of penetrating trauma scenarios designed to support realistic Rescue Task Force, warm zone, MCI, and triage training. Responders can work through patient assessment, immediate treatment needs, extraction priorities, and triage decisions as patients move through the exercise.

MCI equipment can spend a lot of time sitting on a shelf between incidents, which makes it easy to assume everything is still ready to go.

But supplies get used during training, items get moved, markers dry out, and consumables don’t always make their way back into the kit.

It’s worth taking a few minutes every so often to check your MCI equipment, replenish what’s been used, and make sure everything is where your team expects it to be.

And don’t forget the simple question: Does everyone who may need this equipment know where it’s stored and how to access it?

A quick check now can save valuable time when that equipment is actually needed.
