Three years ago, I sat at my desk and hit submit on our LLC application. Deer Soul was born.
At the time, I was working full-time and finishing my MBA. Barron was working full-time and deep in his herbal apprenticeship. We didn't want to wait until everything was perfect — because you never know what tomorrow holds.
In April 2022, a fire took everything we had in our apartment. We kept going anyway.
Learning. Creating. Trying. Adjusting. We just wanted to help people slow down — to notice what they're eating, to be present in their own lives.
Three years later, we're both doing this full time. And we're just getting started.
