If you're not able to see us in person, we have Virtual Visits available every day where you can get the same care from our doctors from the comfort of your home. We offer a wide variety of wellness treatment options including immunizations, IV hydration therapy, B12 shots, sports, and work physicals (including DOT), cardiovascular screening, concussion management, and physical therapy. At Marque, our passion is your wellness and it's our mission to get you back to feeling happy and healthy. We accept most major PPOs, select HMOs, and offer self-pay discounts for non-insured patients. We're a provider of occupational medicine for hundreds of organizations in Southern California. We offer pre-employment physicals, drug screens, annual wellness exams, and PATs (Physical Ability Testing). In honor of RHOC 🍊 turning 20 we wanted to dig into the archives.

Back in 2014, Marque made an appearance on The Real Housewives of Orange County during Season 9's "Showdown at the Hoedown," when a mechanical bull mishap led to an unexpected urgent care visit for Tamra.

Twelve years later, we're still here caring for Orange County through life's everyday illnesses, injuries, and, yes, the occasional unexpected adventures!

Youth sports are a great way for kids and teens to stay active, build confidence, and be part of a team. But practices, games, tournaments, and year-round schedules can also put a lot of stress on growing bodies.

One of the most important things parents and coaches can do? Pay attention when a young athlete says something hurts. As Dr. Nathan Kiskila, of Marque Urgent Care, reminds us: “Rest shouldn’t be viewed as falling behind. Recovery is part of training.”

Hot, sweaty days can sometimes leave more behind than just a sunburn. We've been seeing a lot of heat rash in the clinics. Heat rash happens when sweat gets trapped beneath the skin, causing small bumps, redness, itching, or that uncomfortable prickly feeling. It's especially common during hot and humid weather and can show up anywhere sweat tends to collect.

The good news? Mild heat rash often improves by simply cooling down and keeping the skin dry.
If your rash is worsening, isn't improving, or you're concerned it could be something else, Marque Urgent Care can evaluate your symptoms and recommend the appropriate treatment.

The first week of August is World Breastfeeding Week, making it the perfect time to raise awareness about breastfeeding health and remind new mothers to care for themselves, too.

During the warmer summer months, staying hydrated is especially important, as breastfeeding mothers can become dehydrated more quickly. Drinking plenty of water and listening to your body's needs can help support both you and your baby.

It's also important to recognize the signs of mastitis, a common breast infection that may include:- Breast pain or tenderness
- Redness or warmth of the breast
- Fever
- Flu-like symptoms

If you're experiencing symptoms of mastitis, our providers can evaluate your condition, recommend the appropriate treatment, and prescribe medication when medically appropriate to help you recover as quickly as possible.

Ear pain after swimming? It could be swimmer's ear.

Swimmer's ear is an infection of the outer ear canal that can develop when water becomes trapped in the ear, allowing bacteria to grow. Common symptoms include ear pain, itching, redness, swelling, drainage, and muffled hearing.

The good news is that swimmer's ear is usually easy to treat when caught early. Prescription ear drops are often the most effective treatment and can help relieve symptoms quickly.

The World Cup spirit has officially arrived at Marque Urgent Care Grossmont!
