2. Protect it from heat: Heat styling tools such as curling irons and straighteners can further dry out grey hair. Limit your use of these tools or use them on a lower heat setting. Always apply a heat protectant spray before styling to minimize damage.

3. Minimize exposure to the sun: UV rays can cause grey hair to turn yellow or brassy over time. Whenever you're spending time in the sun, protect your hair by wearing a hat or using a leave-in conditioner with SPF.
