I love people.
I love meeting new people, reconnecting with old friends, and building relationships with people who have only known me for a few years. The beautiful thing is that every one of them knows a different version of me.
Some knew the childhood Destiny trying to find where she belonged.
Some knew the medical version who looked like she had it all together but wasn't happy.
Some know the mom who hears, "How do you do it?"
Some know the business owner carrying the weight of a dream & a small business.
Some watched me build Caya from the ground up. Others assume I had a rich dad, a rich husband, an inheritance, or some magical grant.
And some don't know me at all.
I hear it all the time...
"You have it made." "Must be nice." "You're so lucky."
The truth?
I do feel incredibly blessed. But behind every blessing were countless hours, sleepless nights, overthinking, setbacks, risks, prayers, and faith.
Many of my clients remember appointments while Caya was still under construction different colored walls, supplies everywhere, even a Pack 'n Play in the room. I was embarrassed, but they watched this dream & grew with me.
No matter which version of me you know, I hope one thing never changes.
When you walk through the doors of Caya Wellness, I hope you feel cared for, heard, seen, and never judged.
Because the best version of me isn't the business owner or even the massage therapist.
It's just a girl who gets to hold space for others, help carry their pain, celebrate their life, and remind them they can simply come as they are.
So if you've ever looked at my life and thought, "You're so lucky," thank you.
But it isn't luck.
It's passion.
And I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Come as you are 🤍
