10 days.

In 10 days, a room full of women will walk into ROOTED.

And I keep thinking about the woman who needs to be in that room but hasn’t bought her ticket yet.

Maybe she’s been telling herself:

I’m fine.

I’m just tired.

Life is just busy right now.

I’ll take care of myself when things slow down.

But things rarely slow down on their own.

ROOTED was created for the woman who spends so much time taking care of everyone and everything around her that she has slowly stopped checking in with herself.

For one evening, we’re changing that.

ROOTED isn’t another night where you sit in a chair, take notes, and leave with more things to add to your to-do list.

It’s an evening to exhale.

To understand what’s happening inside your body.

To recognize what chronic stress and survival mode can actually look like.

To move.

To breathe.

To eat.

To connect.

To laugh.

To remember what it feels like to actually feel like you again.

I got to spend 3 wonderful years in my current office and now it is time to move on! I’m looking forward to this new chapter and hope you’ll follow me down the road!
