Giving safe and effective treatment is a top priority at Pure Medical Aesthetics, LLC. Heidi Glood, FNP-C, APRN and practice owner, began her career in the medical field over 15 years ago when she worked at a school for children with disabilities. Since that time, she has worked in various areas of patient care (medical transcriptionist, certified nursing assistant, health unit c
lerk, registered nurse in the hospital setting, as well as, endoscopy and plastic surgery). Since graduating from the University of South Alabama, she has worked in oncology/hematology, urgent care, and aesthetics. In addition to her extensive clinical expertise, her academic career includes a BSN from South Dakota State University and MSN from the University of South Alabama. She is an AANP board certified family nurse practitioner
As mentioned, prior to becoming a board certified nurse practitioner and business owner, Heidi worked as a registered nurse for a busy plastic surgery center, performing cosmetic procedures and fine tuning her skills in aesthetic injectables. Although she has a passion for numerous aspects of patient care, her passion has always been in medical aesthetics. She has maintained a high standard of customer service by ensuring that our patients feel at ease, maintaining a warm bedside manner and demonstrating an extensive knowledge of aesthetic medicine.
