Pain-free isn’t the finish line. It’s checkpoint one.

Most rehab stops the second symptoms calm down; a few adjustments, some stretching, maybe an ice pack, and you’re sent on your way. If it doesn’t hurt anymore, great, we’re done.

We don’t stop there. Pain-free means you’re cleared to start building capacity, load tolerance, a threshold that’s actually higher than the one you got hurt at. Pain → Function → Performance is the whole plan, not just the first step.

One of the most common questions I hear from parents is, “Is this normal?”

The truth is, every baby is different. Normal isn’t always the question. Sometimes babies just need a little extra support to move, feed, and develop more comfortably.

During your baby’s evaluation, I look at movement, head preference, feeding, tension, primitive reflexes, and overall development to understand their unique patterns.
