Meet Dr. Dodie McGee, DNP, FNP-C, the heart behind McGee Medical. A lifelong Hinds County resident, she knew from a young age that she wanted to practice rural medicine and serve the community that raised her.

With more than 30 years of experience in medicine, Dr. McGee has built a career rooted in compassion, clinical excellence, and service. Throughout the years, she has cared for patients from all walks of life and remained committed to making quality healthcare more accessible to the people in her community.

She founded McGee Medical to create a place where patients receive exceptional care while also feeling known, respected, and heard. Through family medicine, chronic disease management, telehealth, and advanced wound care, Dr. McGee provides thoughtful, patient-centered care designed around each person’s individual needs.

For Dr. McGee, this is more than medicine—it is service, purpose, and a commitment to home. McGee Medical represents the experience she has gained, the community that shaped her, and her belief that every patient deserves to feel genuinely cared for.
