QiGong and Art for Peace

QiGong and Art for Peace Peace can be created only by peaceful people and by peaceful actions. My vision is to create more peace, compassion and understanding between people.

Since the dramatic events in Ukraine that happened in 2013 and was leading the world into a more confrontation and war, I have been thinking of how to unite people back. I am originally from Ukraine and I am saddened that violence has separated families, and tension remains between countries. I truly believe that the peace on Earth we all want comes from the minds and hearts of peaceful people. S

tressful or scared people despite their good intentions to solve problems tend to create conflicts and more stress, and therefore, more solutions that in this or other way perpetuate violence. True peace comes from within and is not given to you by anybody. I want to spread this message to as many people as I can reach, and create more peaceful energy and flow in our communities. Join me in my intention to transform our struggles into harmonious and beneficial to all resolutions through the practices of meditative breathing, Qigong and creativity. QiGong is a mindful practice that helps to attain inner peace by connecting breath with movement. The Healing Art of Mandalas is a mediative tool for relaxation, developing concentration, attention, getting more in-tune with yourself and receiving answers you seek from the higher level of consciousness. I am creating more positive and transformational energy in my own corner of the world with the big hope that through a ripple effect the peace will reach Ukraine, Israel, Palestine, Syria and Africa, and all other countries that are affected by war. Let's unite our efforts and be the catalysts for more peace and collaboration between countries!

🌿 You don’t have to stand to practice QiGong.

Did you know that QiGong and Taichi can be practiced sitting in a chair?

You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to move fast.
And you don’t need to be able to stand for a long time.

What makes QiGong powerful isn’t how big or impressive the movement looks.

It is how you move.

🌿 Slowly.
🌿 With your breath.
🌿 With awareness.
🌿 Paying attention to the sensations in your body.

Even simple movements can become a deeply calming practice when we stop rushing and start listening to our bodies.

Here are a few examples from my chair practice:

🌀 Gentle side stretch
Reaching through one arm while creating space along the side of the body can help release tension and bring awareness into the ribs, shoulders and waist.

🙌 Reaching upward
Slowly extending the arms toward the sky with the breath creates a feeling of length and openness through the whole body — while inviting us to connect movement with breathing.

🤲 Hands over the face
After movement, we can turn inward. Covering the eyes and becoming quiet for a few breaths creates a moment of pause, grounding and self-awareness.

🙏I always finish my practice with gratitude 🙏🙏🙏

And this is where the magic happens…

When we slow down enough to feel our body and follow our breath, we give our nervous system a chance to shift out of constant “doing” and into a more relaxed state, but gratitude gives as a chance to truly open our heart and feel the surge of warm energy and whole body expansion in a present moment.
This feeling invites you into a world of conscious creation and full acceptance of yourself and others.

DAILY BENEFITS:
With regular mindful practice, QiGong can support relaxation, emotional regulation, body awareness, and a healthier response to everyday stress and unplanned situations.

You don’t have to push your body to receive the benefits.

Sometimes, less is more. ❤️

If you prefer a gentler practice there is a place for you in QiGong.

🌿 Join me for QiGong on September 12th.

Come as you are.
Sit, stand, move, breathe… and reconnect with yourself.

You don’t have to be “good at QiGong.”
You just have to be willing to slow down and listen. ✨

Why were adults more fascinated by my Slavic Dolls than children? 👀✨
I discovered something very touching at the Farmers Market…

Recently, I was at the Farmers Market at Danvers Art Association, where I was selling my art creations and promoting my upcoming Slavic Doll Making Workshop.

There weren’t many people that day because it was cloudy and a little gloomy. But something very interesting caught my attention: the dolls seemed to attract more adults than children!

Why is that? I wondered.

Maybe because they are unusual and have no eyes 👀 (I’ll explain why at the workshop 😉). Or perhaps because they don’t look like the familiar characters kids see on TV and screens.

When I was a girl, I loved making dresses for my dolls. I had only three - one tiny, one a little bigger little and one big! They were special! They were my friends and companions through all kinds of challenging times.

Whenever I found a little piece of fabric in my mom’s sewing supplies, I would imagine how I could turn it into a dress for my dolls. Creating something that would cover their nakedness and protect their vulnerability made me feel so happy, creative, and powerful. Yes! 😊

I loved imagining them going to “the ball,” “getting married,” and “having babies.” I copied everything I saw in my real life or in cartoons on TV.

Today, children often play with fantasy characters and superheroes in video games, or even as toys, but rarely they make clothes for them as everything is already available at the store to buy.

But the adults at the market responded to my Slavic Dolls with curiosity and big smiles. 🥰
They asked questions. They wanted to ring the little bell hidden inside each doll.

And I was telling them stories that made these little dolls feel almost magical. ✨

Perhaps that is why the dools attracted adults so much.

Maybe somewhere inside each of us there is still that little child who wants to create, imagine, play, and feel safe.

✨If you would like to reconnect with your inner child and bring back that childhood feeling of peace, curiosity, imagination, and joy, please join me this Saturday for a Slavic Doll Making journey.

You will create not just a doll, but a new little friend for yourself—dressed in your favorite colors and carrying a piece of your soul that is always kind, loving, and generous. 💜

Bring a friend or a child and share a beautiful bonding experience—laugh, create, and connect on a deeper, soul level.

✨ August 29th | 2–5 PM

Come create something magical with your own hands. 🌿✨

My Worry, Birthday Story and Special Events on Lunar Eclipse - https://mailchi.mp/e0f9d735a341/money-mandala-august-news-9260407
This month, many of our worries and old habitual patterns may feel especially close to the surface. The August eclipse season culminates with the partial lunar eclipse on August 27–28, and its energy can be a beautiful invitation to pause, reflect, release, and reset.

I am offering two special events to help you do just that:

August 28 — Full Moon Cathartic Breathwork

August 29 — Slavic Doll Making for Clearing & Joy

"Sometimes a doll is more than a toy — she’s the friend who stays when the world feels too hard.
Maybe that’s the magic of dolls: they never outgrow the part of us that still needs a friend.”

✨ This Saturday, I invite you to a special workshop where you can enjoy learning the Slavic traditional craft of making dolls from fabric and threads.

Nothing complicated, but a beautiful and fascinating technique: wrapping your favorite pieces of fabric into a personal amulet, complete with a little bell. 🔔

But why a bell?

You’ll discover its meaning at our workshop. 😉

Come reconnect with your inner child, uplift your spirit, and enjoy a creative moment for yourself — or bring your kids and make your unique dolls together!

All materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own favorite pieces of fabric. ❤️

Location: Danvers Art Association in Danvers, MA

Our last trip to the labyrinths in North Andover was very peaceful. It was perfect to celebrate Summer Solstice there and see the beauty of that land. I am so grateful for the Rolling Ridge Retreat Center for allowing us to visit their grounds and labyrinths. We will organize another tour in autumn, I hope you will join us and celebrate The Fall Equinox by moving slowly, breathing easily and connecting with yourself and Nature on a deeper level.
