There was a season where my hair felt brittle, fragile, thin, and honestly… like my body was waving a white flag. Between thyroid struggles, stress, hormonal shifts, and my health journey, my hair reflected exactly what was happening internally.
And if you’ve been through major health changes or significant weight loss, you know how common it is for hair to become one of the first things impacted.
I tried SO many things over the years. “No poo” methods. Avoiding shampoo altogether. Nutrition changes. Supplements. Different routines. Basically everything.
And honestly… being a mom adds another layer too 😂
Because let’s be real kids LOVE playing “hair salon.” Between brushing too hard, tangles, pulling, clips, ponytails, and little hands constantly wanting to style your hair, brittle hair can snap and break so easily. There were times I genuinely worried more hair would end up in their toy brush than stay on my head.
But over this last year, something shifted. Not just because of one product… But because I started supporting my body differently as a whole. Better habits. More consistency. Less stress signaling. More nourishment. More alignment.
And alongside that, I started consistently using MONAT for my scalp and hair care.
The biggest confirmation came recently from my beautician. Without me prompting anything, she said: “I’ve definitely noticed positive things like healthy-looking new growth around your hairline, good overall fullness, and your hair maintaining its integrity really well through color services. Your hair looks strong, healthy, and resilient.” She also reminded me of something important: Hair health is usually influenced by a combination of things scalp care, stress, habits, nutrition, wellness, and consistency over time.
And honestly… that’s exactly what I believe too.
No single product replaces foundations. But supportive products absolutely matter.
For me, MONAT has become part of that support system and part of the routine that’s helped my hair feel healthier, stronger, and more resilient again.
