Tuesday was a busy day at the Spink County Ambulance Building!
Gaumard Scientific brought some manikins for demonstration for training. Gaumard provides high-fidelity training mannequins. You can see these mannequins at the University of South Dakota, as well as Northern State University in the nursing department. The mannequins that were brought to us had focused training in OB, pediatric, and trauma.
After the training was concluded, members from the South Dakota Department of Health EMS division, Marty Link and Lance Iverson, South Dakota Foundation for Medical Care, Stacie Frendenburg and Rachel Torrey, Secretary of Health for South Dakota, Melissa Magstadt, and members of CMS toured our facility. While they were here, they learned more about the Wildcat Rescue hub and spoke model that we are currently employing in Spink County.
Thank you to all the visitors we had!
