Why isn't this treatment known? Because it is a new breakthrough.
I had two choices on how to inform the medical community about these new concepts. First is the “medical acceptance pathway”. This is a 10-15 year journey of testing, publishing, lecturing etc. As I began working with these new treatment protocols, I discovered that I could not even get various local doctors attention. One can’t just blast onto the medical research scene. It quickly became clear that if I wanted to get this information out in a reasonable time frame, that I would have to do a grass root campaign with patients. Fibromyalgia patients are motivated, well connected with social media, and well bring this concepts to their doctors. So I made the decision not to begin with the medical acceptance pathway, but to write a book and work with people through social media. As patients and their doctors see success, this grassroots campaign will open doorways and eventually the medical acceptance will follow.
