💔 My heart breaks for Bend, Oregon.

For 10 years, Bend was my home. As a former teacher, this tragedy has touched me deeply.

It’s difficult to fathom something so heartbreaking happening anywhere, especially in a community so full of natural beauty, kindness, and love for the great outdoors.

Sending love, strength, and prayers to the victims, their families, and the entire Bend community. ❤️

This past week reminded me why I do what I do. 💙

When I moved from Oregon to Florida, I left behind a practice I had spent years building and patients I had grown very close to.

For more than a decade, I’ve dedicated myself to studying, learning, and continually expanding the way I care for my patients. And the more I learn, the more I realize there is still so much more to learn.

This past week, something happened that meant more to me than I can adequately put into words.
Two former patients traveled by plane to Florida to see me for care.

Having someone travel across the country because they trust you with their health is a kind of compliment and responsibility I will never take for granted.

Moments like this remind me that all those years of studying, listening, questioning, learning, and trying to become a better clinician mattered.

And now I’m incredibly grateful to be building the next chapter of my practice here in St. Petersburg. 🌴
