Service Talks Day 8 - Service helps you see into the future 🔮

When we focus on service (helping another person for nothing in return) we use different parts of our brains 🧠 it releases serotonin, dopamine, and oxytocin.

We bypass the ‘self-portion’ of the mind containing our own limiting beliefs, while pumping out pleasure, happiness and social bonding hormones.

While existing in a state of service - gifting 🎁 time 🕛 - we gain an additional observational perspective, which offers a clearer picture into the future.

What could happen if we weren’t limited by the wounds or experiences of our past?
What could we create & what time would we need?

Service is not a predictor of the future, it’s more ‘a tool that tunes our hearts to future possibilities.’ It’s like tending to a garden 🪴… when you experience your first harvest of fruit 🍎 it seems magical 🧙‍♀️, but it is nature.

The more we serve, the more magical our life feels because we are happier, feel better, and are more socially connected with stronger relationships.

The more experience we have disengaging our fight & flight mechanism -which limits us with tunnel vision to survive- the easier it becomes as we work to give value in situations.

As we serve, our minds default to a more holistic, ‘we perspective.’

The more we serve, the more we become our best selves in our community by pumping out social bonding, happiness, and pleasure through gifting our best perspective through actions others find valuable.

Consequently, those that serve others grow the best relationships in the shortest amount of time, which grows the best future.

My family had an awesome vegetable garden 🍅 🌽 growing up. We grew sugar snap peas that my sister & I still dream 😴 about today.

The gardening 👨‍🌾 it took to grow sugar snap peas took us serving the earth 🌍 with fertilizer, seed & water 💦. Getting the best delicious 🤤 veggies that have never been duplicated again in my life is magical 🧙‍♂️

Fear 😨 based thinking = controlled & ends
Love ❤️ based thinking = cultivated & grows

Love ❤️ is magic.
Service is magic.

They both grow the best future for those involved.
