The City of Reedley piloted expanded access to pickleball at KCUSD and at the Community Center. The turnout was amazing so the City prioritized the development of two new courts at the Sports Park. Staying active is important, even as temperatures begin to rise this summer!

To exercise safely in the heat, try working out during cooler parts of the day, before 8 a.m. or after 7 p.m., and avoid peak sun hours between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Wear lightweight, light-colored, moisture-wicking clothing, apply sunscreen, and most importantly, stay hydrated before, during, and after your workout with water or electrolytes to help prevent heat exhaustion.

A safe workout is a healthy workout! 💧
