Today, during a yearly kidney transplant list evaluation, I was reminded of something powerful: sometimes the greatest gift you can give is simply being willing to try.

If becoming a living kidney donor has ever crossed your mind, but you've counted yourself out because you think you might not qualify, don't make that decision for yourself. Take the first step anyway. Ask the questions. Complete the pre-assessment. Learn what's possible.
