Breast health is much more than just getting a routine mammogram.

It's knowing what’s normal for your breasts—and speaking up when something changes—is an important part of taking care of your health.

Here are a few simple reminders:

✨ Keep up with recommended mammograms and screenings.
✨ Know your personal breast cancer risk and talk with your provider about it.
✨ Pay attention to changes such as a new lump, ni**le discharge, skin changes, or changes in breast shape or size.
✨ Don’t ignore something that feels different or unusual for you.

Not every change means breast cancer, but new or unusual changes are worth discussing with your healthcare provider.

Can my OBGYN fill out FMLA and disability forms?

In many cases, yes. A primary care provider may complete FMLA medical certification when they are managing or familiar with the medical condition related to your leave.

If you need FMLA or disability paperwork completed by our office, you can bring your paperwork to an upcoming appointment or call our office for information about emailing it to us.

A few things to keep in mind:

📄 Bring your paperwork to your appointment or contact us about emailing it.
⏰ Plan ahead and allow 5–7 business days for processing.
💳 A $20 processing fee is due at the time of pick-up.

Because paperwork takes time to review and complete, we recommend getting it to us as early as possible.

When most people think of ultrasound, they may think of pregnancy—but ultrasound is an important tool in women’s healthcare for many different reasons.

At OBGYN Associates, we offer a range of ultrasound services right here in our office, including:

✨ Obstetrical ultrasound throughout pregnancy, including pregnancy confirmation and the mid-pregnancy anatomical survey
✨ Gynecological and pelvic ultrasound to evaluate the uterus, ovaries, cervix, fallopian tubes, bladder, and other pelvic structures
✨ 3D ultrasound technology when appropriate during pregnancy

Our office has three highly trained ultrasound technicians, and your physician reviews and interprets the images before discussing the findings with you.

Whether you’re expecting a baby or your provider recommends an ultrasound to take a closer look at a health concern, imaging can be an important part of understanding what’s happening inside your body.
