☀️ Happy Saturday 🥰

I’m trying really hard to be more disciplined with myself on posting 🤭 I’ve got some catching up to do! We are still working behind the scenes on our new space, doing all the boring admin stuff and final touches. I can’t wait to show you all the final result 🥹 but on top of that I am also a mom, so all of these roles have to balance out for me some how. Sometimes that means my posting gets behind 🤭

You guys have no idea how grateful I am to have a home base of our own. It’s been a long time coming, and the studio we are curating is everything I’ve ever wanted. We want you all to feel comfy, chill, relaxed, like you’re hanging out with friends at home getting tattooed in a safe, clean environment. Everyone who has been in so far has said that we have achieved that, and we aren’t even done yet 😍😍😍 keep your eyes peeled for more posts from me, and of course my girl Esmeralda 🌹 Reno’s Tattoo Artist 🖌️ !

I am so so so happy with these roses, and I really want to do more! I’d like to experiment with even less black and different color palettes 🤭 🥀

Fun fact: the lavender I did with me fingie. Sometimes I just can’t be bothered when my Apple pen is dead.

I drew these in the moments I was really missing the ocean. And I’m sure there will be more like this. Because why do I live in the desert? 🧐🥲🌊🦀 I am clearly a water creature.

But for real, this first pic I came across on FB brought up a lot of thoughts for me I want to share to you beautiful humans.

I want to be clear that of course no one is perfect, including myself. Even though my tattoo was technically applied “better” than the first pic, I as the artist can still see things I can improve upon.

Buttttt what I really want to get across to you all, is that your artist should give a f**k.

They should care about what they are putting on your body. They should consider things like how your skin is responding, how much they are working an area, how the tattoo will heal and age, and consider you and your comfort during the process.

There is always going to be room to grow and learn as an artist. I know there is for me, and it is my drive to keep going. But I think there is a difference between being imperfect and simply just not caring about what you put on someone else’s body.

So ANYWAYSsss in closing 😅 when you’re choosing an artist make sure you get the vibe that they actually give a f**k, they care about you and what they are gonna put on your body. Or just come to me 😉🥰🫶🏻 we’ll have a silly ol time
