🎉✨ Happy 2nd Anniversary to Desert Horizon Behavior Services! ✨🎉

Two years ago, we set out with a vision of creating a place where neurodivergent individuals and their families could find support, connection, growth, and belonging. Today, we are overwhelmed with gratitude as we reflect on how far we’ve come.

Over the past two years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting incredible clients, collaborating with amazing families, building meaningful community partnerships, expanding our services, and watching so many individuals reach goals they once thought were out of reach.

To our clients, families, staff, community partners, and supporters—thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey. Your resilience, dedication, and belief in our mission are what make DHBS so special.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re excited for everything still to come. Here’s to continuing to foster confidence, independence, meaningful relationships, and opportunities for every individual we serve.

✨ We’re honored to share that Desert Horizon Behavior Services has been nominated for Best of Sierra Nevada once again! ✨

Last year, thanks to the incredible support of our community, we were awarded GOLD. This year, we are humbled to be nominated in THREE categories!

Every day, our team works to provide compassionate, individualized support to children, teens, young adults, and families throughout our community. Being recognized alongside so many amazing local businesses is truly an honor.

🌵We’re excited to announce that we are now accepting new clients for 1:1 ABA services in additions to our established group services!🌵

Our team provides individualized support in the clinic, home, and school settings to best meet each person’s needs. We currently have a limited number of openings available—and there is NO WAITLIST!

Big things are happening at Desert Horizon Behavior Services ✨

This week, we officially received the keys and moved into our new office — a milestone that represents growth, expansion, and so many exciting opportunities ahead for the families in our community. As we continue expanding our services and growing our company, one thing will never change: our VALUES.

We will always choose people over profit. We will continue to empower our clients and families with compassion, kindness, dignity, and individualized support.And we will always strive to create a workplace where we collaborate and our staff feel valued, supported, and appreciated while providing meaningful care to our learners.

Last night, our social skills groups hit the mini golf course! Along the way, we practiced friendship skills, positive peer interactions, teamwork, and making confident choices — even when faced with peer pressure. Our groups worked on encouraging one another, showing good sportsmanship, and remembering that it’s okay to stay true to yourself. So proud of the kindness, laughter, and connection we saw! 💚⛳️🌈

At Desert Horizon Behavior Services, this quote in our building stopped us in our tracks: “Our chief want is someone who will inspire us to be what we know we could be.”

That’s the heart of what we do. We believe every child, teen, and adult has potential—and sometimes they just need the right support, encouragement, and guidance to help it shine. Through compassionate ABA services, we work to build skills, confidence, independence, and meaningful connections so each person can grow into the best version of themselves.

Today on World Autism Day, we celebrate the incredible individuals with autism who make our community stronger, more compassionate, and more understanding. 💙

At Desert Horizon Behavior Services, it is truly an honor to know and love the individuals and families we serve. We are privileged to create a space where all abilities are welcomed, and where every person has the opportunity to grow, connect, flourish, and learn.

Today also serves as a reminder that awareness and acceptance shouldn’t live in just one day on the calendar.
