The true transformation comes within us, with how we approach everything—pleasant, painful, or neutral. It comes from what is born of connection, of openness. It comes from what is molded from the material that life presents us. We learn we can be steadier, more centered, more attuned, more loving, no matter what is going on. And we see that we can learn from our mistakes, rather than considering ourselves irredeemable and calling ourselves utter failures for not executing something perfectly. This, too, in life is a point where we can discern what is the path (everything is something we can learn from) and what is not the path (the opposite).
