Butter chicken does not need a cup of cream to taste like butter chicken.
This one uses 3g butter for the aromatics, tomato for the base, and Greek
yogurt at the end. The only fussy part is keeping the heat low when the yogurt
goes in.

It is 644 calories and 69g protein per serving, including the rice. Save it
for dinner. Full recipe:

Shakshuka is already a great breakfast. The problem is that two eggs do not
get you very far on protein.

The fix here is simple. Stir egg whites into the tomato and chickpea base,
then set the whole eggs on top. You keep the yolks and end up at 414 calories
and 32g protein per serving.

Save this for the weekend. Full weighed recipe:

Slowly adding calories after a diet is not better at preventing weight regain than returning to estimated maintenance.

That is what a 2025 trial in trained lifters found. Raise calories on purpose, expect an early scale jump from water and glycogen, and judge the trend by weekly averages.
