Monday, September 7th is also the Labor Day Holiday when we recognize the social and economic contributions of workers in the United States.

It's a lovely Tuesday. Fall is in the air.
Life is uncertain for many of us, but we still carry on.
And I don't know about you, but sometimes I need a little extra hug from life. Something warm. Something sweet. Something that makes your brain light up for a moment and reminds you that there are still really simple things that feel really, really good.
As Charles Bukowski once said, "We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us."
To make Tuesday feel a little less ordinary our bakery staff, Tammy who has been with us for one year, and April who has been with us for 12 years this December. Dedicated, loyal, ambition for their craft of making people happy with food have made...

There are days when lunch is just lunch… and then there are days like today. 🤌🌿

The kitchen has been busy, the ovens have been warm, and the counters are FULL.

Come hungry for mushroom & ricotta strata, nacho everyday soup, fresh cold deli pasta, crunchy pea salad, sandwiches and colorful fruit bowls.

And then… dessert. 🍰
Chocolate cake with caramel frosting. (NO LIE! The BEST cake I personally have ever had!)-Eileen... Blueberry scones. Strawberry shortcake scones. Apple cinnamon muffins dripping with caramel glaze. Peach custard bars, gluten-free orange bars, pumpkin bars, macaroons and fresh-baked cookies.

And because no good table is complete without bread fresh honey wheat and white loaves are coming out of the kitchen, too. 🍞
