Therapy does not always have to begin with the perfect words.

For children, teens, adults, and families, it can sometimes feel easier to express thoughts, emotions, and experiences through creativity, play, or visual storytelling.

At Sage House Counseling & Art Therapy, our clinicians use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including art therapy, play therapy, and sand tray therapy, to help clients explore what they may not yet know how to say out loud.

Art therapy can offer a way to process through creativity.
Play therapy can give children and families a natural outlet for expression.
Sand tray therapy can create a visual language for emotions and experiences that may feel difficult to explain.

Therapy can be thoughtful, meaningful, and healing — but it can also be creative, playful, and deeply personal.

If you or your child could benefit from a different way to express, process, and grow, Sage House is here to support you.
