He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1997. Dr. Dwayne Hansen practiced in Sikeston, MO for 5 years before moving to Rexburg, ID in 2002 where he started his private General Surgery Practice. Dr. Max Hansen is a board eligible General Surgeon. Max graduated from the University of Des Moines Medical School in Des Moines, IA. He completed his General

Surgery residency through the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND in June of 2022, with an emphasis on rural surgery.
