✨ PROVIDER SPOTLIGHT: Meet Bryant F. Hansen, PA-C! ✨

Bryant is a valued member of the Emergency Department team at Madison Memorial Hospital, where he evaluates and treats patients experiencing a wide variety of urgent illnesses and injuries. When he is not caring for patients in the ER, Bryant also provides care at Grand Peaks Medical.

A Rexburg native and Madison High School graduate, Bryant has been caring for patients locally since 2013. For him, serving at Madisonhealth means caring for the friends, families and neighbors who make this community feel like home. 🏡

“My philosophy as a physician assistant in the Emergency Department is to provide high-quality, compassionate care while truly listening to each patient and their family. I strive to provide not only effective medical treatment, but also reassurance, understanding and confidence during some of their most difficult moments.”

Bryant completed his undergraduate education at BYU-Idaho before earning his Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Salus University in Philadelphia, graduating with high honors. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, preparing him to care for patients of all ages.

Before beginning his medical career, Bryant served a two-year mission in Londrina, Brazil, where he learned to speak Portuguese. 🇧🇷

When he is not caring for patients, Bryant enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing the cello, participating in sports and exploring Idaho’s beautiful outdoors. 🎻🏀🏔️

Shauna was nominated by a patient who experienced firsthand just how much it means to have an incredible nurse watching over you and your baby during one of life’s biggest moments.

💬 Shauna’s Winning Nomination:

“She listened to my concerns consistently, explained everything in a way that I could understand, and monitored my baby and me in a way that kept us safe during labor. There was a very scary moment during labor when baby’s heart rate dropped dangerously low, and then my blood pressure bottomed out. Within seconds she showed up with a team of nurses and got us both back on track to a safe delivery. I don’t know where we’d be without her watching over us.”

Shauna, thank you for being the calm in a frightening moment. Thank you for listening, educating, watching closely, and responding when every second mattered. Most of all, thank you for helping this mom feel safe, heard, and cared for while protecting two very precious lives. 💛

🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: MELANIE JENSEN 🌟

This month, we are celebrating an incredible milestone: Melanie Jensen has been part of Madisonhealth for 20 years!

Melanie began as a receptionist at Upper Valley Pediatrics and now serves as an admitting clerk at Seasons Adult and Family Care. Throughout her career, she has worked in several Madisonhealth clinics, learned countless new skills and built lasting relationships with patients, families, providers and coworkers.

Melanie says every day is an adventure and one of her greatest joys has been watching families and their children grow through the years.

And here is a fun fact you may not know: Melanie was a fashion model, lived in Paris for 10 years, traveled around the world for her career and speaks fluent French! 🇫🇷

Thank you, Melanie, for 20 wonderful years of service, growth and dedication to Madisonhealth. We are so grateful you are part of our team! 💙💚

💙 A BIG thank you to our very own Madison Memorial Hospital Foundation! 💙

This past weekend, the MMH Foundation hosted its 22nd Annual Golf Tournament & Fundraiser, bringing our community together for a very successful day of fun, generosity and support for local healthcare.

The funds raised through this tournament stay right here in our community, helping support programs, equipment and patient needs throughout Madisonhealth. This year, that includes fully funding the Angel Babies program for the coming year, a program especially near and dear to our hearts. 💙

But this tournament is just one day out of an entire year of work.

We want to recognize the incredible group of volunteers who make up the MMH Foundation Board. They give countless hours of their own time throughout the year to plan, organize, fundraise, build relationships and advocate on behalf of Madison Memorial Hospital and the patients and families we serve.
