I was “ordered” to take this down. However, I have never been one to give in to bullies. So, I’m posting it again with some clarification since I’m apparently being watched.

2. The original purpose, and what’s still the sole purpose, of this video was/is to show the many different religious and cultural backgrounds of law enforcement and other first responder families. We all just want to be able to celebrate with our loved ones.
So, please enjoy us celebrating the first night of Hanukkah “together.”

My husband and I attended the 3rd First Responders Ball by The Forster Foundation. We had a wonderful time with our great friends and colleagues. We had the honor of meeting Urban Meyer and I also had the honor of chatting with Shelley Meyer, and she is an absolute treasure!

As a social worker, mental health therapist for first responders, and wife of a police sergeant, I will not apologize for speaking up and advocating for those who are asking for help but feel ignored. Feedback directly from those whose overall wellness you say you value should always be welcomed, valued, respected, and seriously considered when you’re in a position of leadership.
