Being a bodyworker can come with some challenges.

Here are some funny things that can interrupt the flow at times.
* trying not to cough
* loud tummy rumbles
* cat noises (Toughy howling)
* tripping over my feet
* fart noises coming from the lotion bottle
* polite snoring from the client

Cat therapy 🐾

Yesterday I gracefully tripped over the hose at the gas station.

Didn’t break bones and made some muscles angry.

Immediately gave each sore spot love and sang my healing song. Toughy and Penelope have also been instrumental in giving the frequency healing possible.

All is well and although hobbly, I am mobile.

P.S. - go around cords in mid air instead of trying to walk over them.

Preparing before a reiki session.

I begin with clearing my space and my aura/energetic field by smudging, asking my ego to step aside, using only divine loving energy.

I then tap into the client’s energy, asking first for permission.

Then I use my pendulum to guide me to what they need for support in their session. It could be a symbol, essential oil, crystal or nothing at all.

This preparation provides me with a starting point of where they are and helps the client feel seen and heard.

I will share with them what I learned before we begin and we will use that to build on their intentions for the session.
