COTA / OTR Job Description

Rise Therapy & Wellness is hiring a **COTA, OTR, or OTD** to join our growing occupational therapy team in Richland, Michigan.

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and collaborative therapist who values **neuro-affirming, relationship-based care** and enjoys supporting children and families through sensory processing, regulation, motor skills, ADLs, play, executive functioning, and meaningful participation.

Responsibilities include:

* Provide individualized OT treatment to children and families
* Support sensory, motor, regulation, ADL, and functional participation goals
* Collaborate with OTs, COTAs, PTs, SLPs, families, schools, and providers
* Complete timely documentation
* Maintain a safe, supportive, and organized treatment environment
* Participate in team collaboration and professional growth

Qualifications:

* Current or eligible Michigan OT or COTA license
* Graduate of an accredited OT or OTA program
* Strong communication and documentation skills
* Pediatric experience preferred, but not required

Schedule:

Full-Time: 30+ hours per week
Part-Time: 20 - 29 hours per week
