This week, we held a ribbon cutting for Kadlec Clinic Candy Mountain Primary Care in West Richland. 🎉

Located next to Kadlec Clinic West Richland Primary Care, this new clinic reflects our commitment to meeting the community’s growing healthcare needs.

It includes 31 exam rooms, consult rooms, physician and advanced practice provider offices, support space, and workstations, with capacity for 10 primary care physicians and advanced practice providers.

The American Cancer Society recommends you start getting regular
screenings if:
• You’re age 45 or over and at a normal risk for colorectal cancer
• An immediate relative had colorectal cancer before age 50
• You’re experiencing abdominal pain, bleeding or changes in bowel habits

Ensure your teen is prepared and confident to handle an emergency.

Kadlec offers a 6.5-hour course designed to empower teens to act in the event of an emergency, create a tool kit for supporting their emotional health, and build confidence in their personal safety.

This course includes instruction on Hands Only CPR, how to use an AED, Basic First Aid, Emotional First Aid, and personal safety skills. This class is designed for learners ages 11 to 17 years old.

Our NICU is equipped to treat high-risk babies needing specialized attention, including premature infants, as well as full-term babies who need additional care. Each year, the Kadlec Auxiliary present an award to one or more of their Junior Volunteers who are planning to attend a college or university to pursue a degree.. To apply for the award, Junior Volunteers must have: completed high school this year, have definite plans to attend college this year, worked at least 100 hours as a Kadlec Junior Volunteer, and still be an active volunteer at Kadlec with hours the month the award is given.

Congratulations to the four 2026 Kadlec Auxiliary Junior Volunteer Scholarship Awardees, who were each awarded $2,000 to help in their pursuit of a degree in the medical field.

• Visit Kadlec.org/urgentcare and click “Reserve My Spot In Line” to let us know you’re on your way.
• Sign in to MyChart or fill out a short form to hold your spot.
• We’ll let you know your wait time so you can plan when to arrive.
• When you arrive, check in at the reception desk and you will be seen as quickly as possible.

“Reserve My Spot In Line” isn’t an appointment. Patients are seen based on both the severity of their condition and arrival time. Your place may change depending on the needs of others with more urgent health concerns.

2025 marked the third anniversary of Homeroom Connect – an outreach program that’s possible with Kadlec Foundation donor support.

Last year alone, Kadlec community health workers served 420 people who are unhoused. This might include simply a welcoming environment in which participants can learn about local resources. It may also include a hot meal, haircut, shower, clothes and health services.

Homeroom Connect is held at the downtown Pasco library and builds trust and relationships with many who often feel unseen.
