When Kadlec’s Interventional Cardiac Program began, Shaundra Dixon was there, helping support the first coronary stent procedures in the Cath Lab.

Shaundra, lead cardiovascular technologist in the Cardiac Cath Lab, is celebrating 25 years of service. She joined Kadlec in 2001 and has seen tremendous growth over the years, from new hallways and a tower to a parking garage and continued expansion across the hospital.

Throughout her career, Shaundra says she has worked alongside many talented physicians and staff who have helped shape her experience in the Cath Lab.

“I am thankful for the career I chose; it is great to be part of a lifesaving team,” she shared.

Are you expecting your first child? Join our next Prepared Childbirth class at Kadlec.
Kadlec offers a Prepared Childbirth class for first-time parents and those who have not previously attended birth preparation courses. Attendees will learn about labor and birth, including pain management techniques and postpartum information.

Please join us in congratulating the newest graduates of Kadlec’s Medical Assistant Training Programs! These programs give participants the opportunity to build strong clinical skills through hands-on experience in a variety of primary and specialty care settings.

Congratulations to Jaiden, Joshua, and Alyssa, who graduated from the Medical Assistant Apprentice Program in July, and to Monse, Marixa, McKenzie, and Christian, who graduated from the Stepful MA-R to MA-C Pathway Program in August. Each of them has accepted a position at one of our Kadlec clinics.

He evaluates and treats a range of conditions, offering both conservative and surgical treatment options based on each patient’s needs and diagnosis.

Join the Kadlec Foundation in supporting the tiniest members of our community by donating books.

Now through the end of September, community members can donate books to help ensure every Kadlec Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) patient goes home with three books. Reading together supports family bonding and early speech development, giving families a meaningful way to connect from the very beginning.

Books can be donated through the online wish list (http://ms.spr.ly/6181aRFTJ) or delivered to the Kadlec Foundation office, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office is located in the Corrado Building at 800 Swift Blvd., Suite 260, Richland.

Olivia began her Kadlec career working night shift in the Emergency Department before moving into her current role in patient placement in 2009.

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking, crafting and organizing projects.
