They teamed up and patients won out!

As part of International Credit Union Day, groups from HAPO Community Credit Union, Gesa Credit Union, ICCU, Numerica Credit Union and STCU assembled hundreds of blankets for our patients - especially those in our neonatal intensive care unit and pediatrics. Along with the gift of comfort - they collectively donated nearly $15,000 to the Kadlec Foundation, helping advance exceptional care right here in our community.

Are you expecting your first child? Join our next Prepared Childbirth class at Kadlec.
Kadlec offers a Prepared Childbirth class for first-time parents and those who have not previously attended birth preparation courses. Attendees will learn about labor and birth, including pain management techniques and postpartum information.

Meet Karen Jenkins, ARNP.

Karen is a nurse practitioner at Kadlec Clinic Vascular Surgery and is celebrating 20 years of service!
Her career in healthcare began when she was just 17 years old, studying to become a nursing assistant during her senior year of high school.

Reflecting on her career, Karen said: “From a young age I wanted to be a nurse to help people in a way that only healthcare providers can. I have filled many roles throughout the years and pushed myself to learn new skills. This has been rewarding to me personally. It has helped me to stay passionate about what I do. I have remained in healthcare for over 30 years because I believe I still have something to give to the patients I serve.”

The Injury Fast Track program at Kadlec Clinic Northwest Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine provides quick access to orthopedic specialists for injuries less than six weeks old. Available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, this program offers reduced wait times to see a specialist, same-day appointments, convenient online scheduling, and onsite imaging and treatment.

Gina serves as a program coordinator working with Kadlec’s hospitalists and intensivists, helping support the teams who care for patients across the hospital.

Kadlec Foundation donors brought a new contrast injector to our interventional radiology department. It helps physicians visualize blood vessels and organs during minimally invasive procedures.

This innovative technology delivers a contrast dye in precise, controlled amounts perfectly timed with imaging, resulting in sharp, detailed pictures that help in the treating of vascular conditions.
