We all had families we came into by way of blood and for some adoption or foster homes. A lot of times with the integration from childhood into adulthood wasn’t always pleasant, healthy, functional, safe, understanding, connected, deep, resonant, or an environment of growth where you’re seen, heard and supported. This is the result of unresolved trauma’s generationally. We now have the advantage from a healing standpoint and perspective to create the spaces and sanctuaries we NEED. A lot of times depending on where we are in our own journeys we may still not be ready to embrace the love and TRUTH that exists in the spaces that may trigger us to fully see ourselves and finally remove the masks and deprogram the conditioning ~ so that what may still hurt us doesn’t in turn become a continuous poison that will tend to hurt others. Community isn’t easy but it is truly WORTH giving ourselves the opportunity we may have never had in this lifetime but in lifetimes before this one. Iykyk. This is Sankofa. It an assignment to return, to remember and to reclaim us and what we can have and used to have with eachother TRIBE. ~ beware of fake pages.
