Reid Health Primary & Specialty Care – Hagerstown is excited to welcome Kelly Landis, NP, to the team. Kelly earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

“I care deeply about people and will strive to be the health educator, confidant, advocate, and healthcare provider they need,” she said. “I feel very strongly about patient autonomy and will support my patients as they make educated decisions about their health.

“I believe much of primary care needs to focus on health promotion and the prevention of illness. It’s a privilege to be trusted with a person's well-being, and I work to honor the trust of my patients by providing high-quality and respectful care.”

Join us in welcoming Kelly by leaving a comment below! And learn more about primary care at Reid Health at https://reidhealth.org/Locations/greenville-urologyhttps://reidhealth.org/Medical-Services/Primary-Care?utm_source=meta&utm_medium=social_organic&utm_campaign=kelly-landis.

Reid team members joined our community for the East Central Indiana Out of the Darkness Walk at the Wayne County Fairgrounds on Oct. 10. Organized by the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention, the event brings people together to raise awareness, honor loved ones, and support prevention efforts.

Thank you to everyone who walked with us, as well as the community members and partners who helped make the day meaningful.

As a sponsor and participant, we’re proud to stand alongside the AFSP and others in our community to raise awareness about su***de prevention and support their mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by su***de.

The conversation doesn’t end when the walk is over. Keep checking in. Keep listening.

And don’t forget! The Coffee Sleeve Project with AFSP and the Kicking The Stigma - Indianapolis Colts continues throughout October. Stop by our main campus coffee shops in Richmond and Connersville to order from a selection of five special drinks – such as You’re Loved – Mocha Latte, You Matter – Matcha, or Courage – Caramel Macchiato – and served with a sleeve featuring messages that encourage conversations about mental health, su***de prevention, and connection.

Celebrate the creativity, strength, and resilience of women through art!

“Women, Healing & Home” is on display at Reid Health Connersville in the Stephen Joseph Holmes & Elizabeth Handley Holmes Art Gallery through January 2027.

The exhibition features works by women artists from across the Whitewater Valley. Artwork was selected based on themes of healing, hope, home, beauty, and connection to community. The collection also highlights women’s health, breast cancer and survivorship, and the places we call home.

The opening of the exhibition coincided with a dedication event honoring the donors whose generosity made possible the Stephen Joseph Holmes & Elizabeth Handley Holmes Art Gallery and the Jan & Roxie Deer Mammography Suite at our Connersville location.

Congratulations to Judy Hreno, whose artwork, “Summer Light,” was voted Best in Show by guests at the dedication event!

Indiana is starting to enforce new HIP (Healthy Indiana Plan) work requirements next year, but you’ll need to take action in October, November, and December this year to keep your coverage.

If you don’t, you’ll find yourself without medical insurance in 2027.

Indiana’s Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) created this video that talks about what happens if you don’t meet the new work requirements.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Can shingles develop years after chickenpox? Can the pain last long after the rash disappears? Who should get the Shingrix vaccine?

Dr. Annuradha Bhandari joined Rick Duncan on G101-3's "Healthy Conversations" this morning to answer these questions and explain why shingles is more than just a rash.

The virus that causes chickenpox can remain inactive in the body for decades before reactivating as shingles. For some people, the burning nerve pain continues for months after the rash is gone, disrupting sleep and daily life.

Dr. Bhandari explains who should get the two-dose Shingrix vaccine, what side effects to expect, why early treatment matters if you develop shingles, and why vaccination is recommended even for some people who've had shingles before.

This October, we’re celebrating the 161 women who’ve received a mammogram made possible through the Reid Health Foundation BRAvo! Fund.

This year, the BRAvo! Fund has helped make screening mammograms possible for women in our communities who otherwise might not have been able to afford them.

Behind every number is a woman who had the opportunity to take an important step in her breast health and an opportunity to detect breast cancer earlier.

The BRAvo! Fund continues to help women access these screenings, thanks to generous donors who make this support possible.

Need assistance with a screening mammogram? Call (765) 983-3358 to learn if you qualify for assistance through our BRAvo! Fund.

Want to help make screening mammograms possible for more women? Here’s how you can donate to the BRAvo! Fund: https://reidhealth.org/Healthy-Communities/Community-Partnerships/Reid-Health-Foundation?utm_source=meta&utm_medium=social_organic&utm_campaign=bravo-fund
