My heart is filled with so much gratitude this morning. Yesterday we had the opportunity to come together and celebrate Mom’s remarkable life and the beautiful person she was. So many friends from far and wide took the time to gift us with their presence and pay their respects, and we have so much love for each and every one of them.

To those in attendance - from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. I have a feeling Mason is smiling and gleaming with pride.

My heart, my soul, my hero - my beautiful mom. Her extraordinary spirit is now free at last. And she, in spite of it all, embodied unconditional love until the very end. I am so unsure how to carry on in a world without her presence, but I know she will remain my guiding light - from whatever realm she now resides.

There are so many words I want to say, but for now - rest well, Mom. I love you to the moon, to the stars, to all the galaxies and back. Until we meet again. 🌙

Hi everyone, I am sorry it’s been a while since the last update on Mason. It has been an eventful past few weeks.

We are currently sitting next to Mom as she’s in bed trying to rest. After having a few more seizures and fighting off an infection, more issues have followed suit. Her body has grown very weak and tired.

Up until now, we have been able to measure the days as “good” or “bad.” Now, we have progressed to evaluating her condition by the hour. Our focus regarding her care has shifted to keeping her comfortable and being present in these pivotal moments.

Words fail to portray just how loved she is, but we are making sure to give it our very best shot. If there is anything you would like her to hear, please let us know. We are honored to relay the message.

Happy birthday to Mason 🩵 another year we have been fortunate enough to laugh, cry, hold, play, sing, dance, comfort, and love one another. She is the best this life has to offer, in whatever capacity the rest of her time allows. Everyone at home raise a glass to one hell of a lady, extra points if it’s Pinot Grigio!

Hi everyone!

Overall, Mom is doing well; she has gotten increasingly weaker over the past few months, so walking is getting harder and harder to do. We have started using a wheelchair more frequently, and she will likely be reliant on one permanently in the near future. While this is tough to see, her personality is still in tact. We are very grateful for that 💛

In brighter news, her birthday is this Tuesday!!! I have had a few of you reach out about sending cards, and have already received a few in the mail. I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to do this! If you are interested in sending one her way, message me directly and I will provide an address.

Hi, everyone!

Just wanted to post a quick update for you all. Mason had another seizure late last night (we believe this is her 3rd one so far in the past 9 months), but she is doing okay today. We will be meeting with her doctor to discuss possible seizure medications, but we are wary of adding this to her regimen due to potential side effects.

Moms a warrior! She really got the neuro trifecta (dementia, Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis), but her spirit and personality are as bright as ever.
