Congratulations to our June Employee of the Month, Jaya Tucker from our Housekeeping Department!

Jaya is a wonderful team member here at Telford Terrace. She is pleasant, kind, and consistently willing to pick up extra shifts to help both her coworkers and our community. Her dedication and reliability do not go unnoticed.

Our residents absolutely love Jaya for her sweet personality and caring nature. She takes pride in her work and helps make our community a warm, welcoming place for everyone.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Madison County Extension Office for purchasing and planting beautiful flowers in our raised garden beds. They were thoughtfully placed outside our dining room windows, creating a colorful and cheerful view for our residents to enjoy during meals.

The flowers are absolutely gorgeous, and we appreciate the care and attention that went into selecting such vibrant blooms. Thank you for helping make our residents’ dining experience even more enjoyable!

Gone fishin’ 🎣🐟

Today our residents had a blast with a creative fishing activity brought to us by our OTD student, Allie! 💙 She came up with the idea and it was an instant hit with everyone.

We made our own colorful “fish” from pool noodles and casted our rods to see what we could catch. There were lots of laughs, friendly competition, and a few “big catches” along the way! 💙

A huge thank you to Rachel from The Twisting Sister for coming out and putting on an incredible balloon show for our residents! 🎈✨

Rachel amazed us all with her talent as she took special requests for balloon animals and even made every resident their own beautiful balloon flower. The smiles and joy she brought to everyone truly made the day unforgettable.

It was the perfect ending to an amazing week, and we are so grateful for the fun and happiness she shared with our residents and staff! 💐

Moments in Bloom!
Our residents had a wonderfully whimsical day learning the art of flower arranging! 🌸🌿 They enjoyed discovering different techniques, colors, and floral designs before creating beautiful arrangements of their own to enjoy.

A very special thank you to Amanda Sears and her friends at the UK Horticulture Department Madison County Extension Office for sharing their time, talents, and love of gardening with us. Your kindness helped make the day so meaningful and memorable! 💐

The fun continued with a magical viewing of The Secret Garden, bringing even more blooms and imagination to the afternoon. ✨ As an extra touch of whimsy, our staff even dressed up as charming garden creatures to help bring the garden magic to life! 🐞🦋🌻

Days like these remind us how much joy creativity, nature, and a little imagination can bring.
