I’ve talked a lot with clients lately about recipes! While I love breaded and tweaking recipes, I know that I can also cause some decision fatigue and overwhelm! There are so many recipes online, which is great, but again clients can wrapped up in finding the perfect recipe instead of just cooking and eating!

I like to teach my clients to build a healthy, balanced plate and what is actually a carb, protein and fat. Learning this helps them it feel more confident with food and makes life easier! I stress of always having to find a recipe they learn that grilled chicken and a sweet potato or steak and some roasted veggies is a perfect meal.

So stop scrolling for recipes and reach for what you have. Remember a few whole foods on your plate can create a delicious meal!

Setting an example and a standard not only for our Transcend community but for their families and anyone that crosses paths with them.
They work so hard, they are extremely committed, they never accept an excuse and they light up any room they walk in with their energy and smiles especially at Transcend.

It’s and I love what our client Nancy says about her training time at Transcend! She trains with her husband (we have several clients who do this) and they do not have the same goals. Our trainers are amazing at customizing each clients workout no matter what! This isn’t most in our team training either! Each workout is still specific to the clients needs! There is no circuit style training that everyone does!

If you feel like some guidance and direction is what you need, we would love to help! 🖤

It’s not about being perfect, but it is about being honest with yourself! If you are not seeing the results you want, nutrition is often the first place to look. And often, the weekend can be a big part of the problem! Don’t undo your progress every week but letting the weekend run the show!! It’s okay to enjoy things, but it’s also okay to say no or set limitations! Your friends and family will still love you!

Don’t panic, this isn’t a post telling you not to track or that tracking is bad! Knowing your caloric intake and macro breakdown can be a HUGE asset! But, if you aren’t tracking accurately it really isn’t going your way work! Often when we tell clients to weigh their food, we get some push back. That’s over the top or obsessive they say. But perfection isn’t the reason to weigh things. Things like this are!

Pictured two avocados. Obviously very different in size! So if you were to simply track 1/2 an avocado that actual number would be very different based on which avocado you were actually eating from! This goes for many things! Whole over time I do think we get better at knowing amounts, it can be a tricky trap!

There are lots of details that can change macros when logging and this is just a reminder of that! Licks, bites and bubbles all count too and can add up to more than you think! So while we never want perfection, if you tracking it’s important to be honest with yourself and see the whole picture!!

This is one of my favorites! Well actually love than all!! But I love how our client Larilynn describes every aspect of our gym and her journey here!! It’s easy for us to see and say how very different we are, but hearing it from clients is always extra special! We are so proud of Larilynn and love watching her journey!
