It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the passing of our dear colleague and friend, William Henderson AKA Big Will on Aug 29,2026.
Words can not fully capture the depth of the void left by his absence, nor can they adequately express the magnitude of the difference he made in all of our lives. Will wasn't just a valued member of our staff: he was part of our family and a friend. Every single day, he brought genuine kindness, dedication, and a gentle spirit that touched everyone he crossed paths with.
He had a rare gift for making people feel seen, valued and cared for. He was simply put, a truly good human being through and through.
Thank you Will, for everything you gave us, for lives you changed and for leaving the world a better place than you found it! You will be missed beyond measure, but your memory will stay with us always.
Please keeps his family and loved ones in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.

Another Live A Dream in the books! We had a wonderful day for of shopping, lunch and a movie. We started our day with a stop at our local Meijer, wish list in hand, we came with out with and impressive haul. It was then on to his favorite restaurant, Dairy Queen, for tasty burgers and ice cream. What better way to end a perfect day than with watching the new Spiderman movie! It truly was a day to remember!

Get ready to feel the thrill of the track 🏁🏎️ One of our wonderful residents lived out an absolute dream by taking a ride in an actual Indy car at the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway! The excitement in the air was palpable, and seeing that huge smile as the engine roared to life is a moment we will never forget. It's living proof that adventure has no age limit and its never too late to check a major item off the bucket list!

🚗Stepping Back in Time at the Model T Museum! 🕖 Our residents had an absolute blast on their recent outing to the Mode T museum here in Richmond! It was wonderful to see so many smiles, spark nostalgic memories and explore the incredible history of the iconic vehicle that put the world on wheels. We were so excited to be able to on a space adventure with Project Odyssey, our unforgettable summer retreat! It was a blast bringing the galaxy to our residents for a day of discovery, creativity and stellar fun collecting moon rocks. We got to stargaze in the planetarium, have some Planet Punch with Pop rocks, played a few rounds of space BINGO, find out our alien names and have our Caricature drawings done by a very talent artist. Thank you to everyone that made our mission a success!🧑‍🚀🧑🏻‍🚀✨🌟💫

🌟We turned our courtyard into the ultimate "Wheel Wash & Splash Zone"! 💦 Nothing beats a hot summer day quite like a day in the sprinklers and getting wheelchairs cleaned at the same time! There was plenty of laughter, a few lucky people got a little soaked and everyone had a blast soaking up the sunshine. It's day like these that make life here so special!

Taking Flight Through History: Our day at Wright Patterson! From the moment we walked through those massive hanger doors, the rooms was buzzing with stories. For many residents, these aircraft arent just museum pieces- they are time machines. We loved watching our residents point to specific models and share where they were, what they were doing when those planes were active in the skies. They are still talking about the wonderful time they had. One resident got to see the exact plane that he worked on during the Vietnam War! Have you been there before, what was your favorite memory there?
