💊 A common question we get asked all the time: "Is it safe to take expired medications?"

The answer: In general, taking expired medications is not recommended. Over time, medications can lose potency, which may make them less effective. Changes in the medication or improper storage conditions may also affect quality and reliability. There are also medications that can cause harm if expired and taken. If you have expired medication, it's best not to use it unless you've spoken with a pharmacist or healthcare provider. You can also call Poison Help for guidance.

And don't forget to regularly clean out and safely dispose of expired or unused medications.
