This is what showing up looks like!

From packing backpacks and serving food to sharing resources and stepping in wherever needed, our THRN partners and volunteers showed up in a big way for our Back to School Event. 🙌🏾

We’re grateful for a network that doesn’t just partner on paper, they show up when it counts!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Back to School Event such an amazing day for our families! Hundreds of bookbags and school supplies were given out to help our young people start the school year ready. 🙌🏾

🍽️ Amazing food from Love Tastes Good🎶 Sounds by Dj Coolmixj💈 Free haircuts by Ray Blendz🏀 Outdoor basketball with Mobile Hoops and Games

And a HUGE thank you to our volunteers and community partners who showed up for it all, from setup and serving to breakdown and cleanup. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Thank you to City of Richmond, VA Government for supporting us again this year and helping us continue showing up for Richmond families.

Still need school supplies? 🎒✏️We have bookbags and supplies in case you missed us! Stop by Hickory Hill Community Center, 3000 E. Belt Blvd., Monday–Friday between 12–5 PM to pick one up while supplies last.
