What a ride the book Patsy took me on! I’ll be honest it was a slow start but picked up and turned into a great story of motherhood, youth, immigration, religion, heartache, and healing.

racism and oppression are systematic and generational. the foundations of this nation are inherently racist. if not we wouldn’t continually fight for the rights that are supposedly already ours.
